Aboriginal Peak Organisations condemn decision on Darwin youth detention site

The APO NT today condemned the NT Government’s decision to ignore Royal Commission recommendations in announcing a new youth detention facility site beside the Darwin adult prison. The APO NT is asking the NT Government to reconsider its decision and to work collaboratively with the community to help young people transform their lives.
