Have your say on kids in care and youth detention

Danila Dilba is partnering with AMSANT and Miwatj to run public community forums across the NT in the next few weeks about what changes people would like to see in the child care and protection systems in the NT following the NT royal commission.

We want to hear from Aboriginal people about what changes there needs to be about how Child Protection (welfare) works

•    If a child needs to be cared for by someone else what information is needed

•    Who should make the decision? how can families be involved?

•    What rights do families have?  how can they be better supported?

•    What information do Aboriginal people need to know about Child Protection?
