Healing and Recovery Service

Danila Dilba offers an aftercare service to provide psychological support to clients and their families following a suicidal crisis.

The emotional and mental health of our mob is deeply connected to the health of their family and community – a suicide attempt is felt by everyone, so follow-up support needs to support everyone. Our team work to connect clients with local and national care providers, integrating social and generational changes to support individuals, families and the community.

Youth Diversion Services

Danila Dilba’s Youth Diversion Services are offered to young mob who find themselves involved in the justice system. Youth are referred to the program by NT Police, following a first-time offence. Our team work with young people to engage them in activities which encourage them to make good life choices with a restorative justice focus. Our Youth Diversion programs are delivered through mentoring, workshops and other activities. The programs our Youth Diversion clients complete relate to their offence.

Our Youth Diversion case managers create individual plans for each client and then work closely with them to complete it, all with a focus to re-engage our client with their community and empower them to make positive life choices for their future.
