DDHS Supports Ochre Ribbon Week, 12 – 19 Feb

Today marks the start of Ochre Ribbon Week – a national initiative that raises awareness of family and domestic violence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Driven by Aboriginal Family Legal Services (AFLS), the Ochre Ribbon Campaign commemorates a decade of action, strength and connection this year. ‘Don’t silence the violence’ is the ongoing call of the campaign.

“It’s time to get real about how we, as a community, drive the change we want to see.” – AFLS chief executive Corina Martin.
