Established in 1991, Danila Dilba Health Service (DDHS) is an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation providing comprehensive primary health care to Biluru communities in the Yilli Rreung Region of the Northern Territory. With a focus on Social and Emotional Wellbeing of our clients you will facilitate and co-ordinate social and therapeutic groups. You will work closely with our SEWB team to co-design and facilitate group workshops with a focus on low intensity mental health.
You will also coordinate and actively participating in relevant community events to provide awareness and promote SEWB program.
Its critical in this role that you are able to provide cultural input and support to SEWB clients and staff members, hence why it is an identified role.
This is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identified position, hence we will only accept candidates that identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
This role is full time and funded to 30 June 2023, with likely funding extension and/or the ability to transfer to other suitable roles within Danila Dilba.
