Rules and Information on the World No Tobacco Day touch Carnival on the 18th May can be found below

Team list / players nomination 

All teams wishing to participate in the carnival must be registered by close of business on:

Friday 3^rd May 2019. 

The team manager is responsible for the registration of the team, as well as making sure all forms are submitted by 3^rd May 2019 and that all information provided is correct. 

Young people in teams must be 12 years and older this year for safety reasons.

Team uniforms 

Teams will need to provide their own jerseys/ team names & numbers on the day. 

Rules for the Carnival

Rules subject to change due to team numbers, heat etc. 

Team Rules

Each team must have a minimum of 2 women on the field at all times. 
Teams must include younger players than 15 years. 

Forfeits

Teams must be at the fields 2 minutes prior to starting times. It is the responsibility of the team manager to ensure that all players have registered and are present. 

If the team is not ready at the field by start time of the game they will automatically lose the coin toss. If the team is not completely fielded 5 minutes after the starting siren, they will be deemed to forfeit that game. 

Code of conduct

This carnival, and NT Touch Association operate under the Australian Sports Commission’s Code of Conduct. By registering in this Carnival, all players and officials agree to this code of conduct. This is a smoke, drug & alcohol free event. The use of drugs, smoking or alcohol is not permitted within the Yanyula Park complex. Smoking is prohibited at the time of this Carnival. Anyone who is smoking on site will be asked to move from the grounds. 

Image consent 

Throughout the carnival, photographers will be taking photos and videos. These may be used in Danila Dilba promotional items including, but not limited to, posters, flyers, our website and social media. 

Your team will be asked about consent for these things on the registration form and link. If you do not want your image used, please state on the form and advise staff at this Carnival. 

Wet Weather 

In the event that severe wet weather occurs, the carnival will be postponed to a later date. 
All teams will be notified of the change in date via their nominated contact person.
