How the National GP Shortage Impacts DDHS
The national GP shortage is having an impact on health services all around the country – especially health services like ours in the Top End. At the moment, the average wait time to see our GPs at Danila Dilba is four (4) weeks. We have very limited availability for on-the-day appointments, so we strongly recommend booking in advance to see our GPs.
If you need urgent care and can’t wait to see our GPs, please visit one of the following:
- Palmerston Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (PMUCC)
- Health Direct: www.healthdirect.gov.au
- Royal Darwin Hospital
