Rising Voices – Empowered by our Ancestors
Danila Dilba’s annual NAIDOC Family Day is back in 2025, this year supported by INPEX.
The Danila Dilba Family Day, supported by INPEX, will feature over 25 health promotion stalls and activities, including:
- Hoops 4 Health
- Waterplay and mega dodgeball by Giggling Geckos
- Arts and crafts
- Food (and ice-cream!)
- Live music and entertainment
- And more!
The event will also feature a special performance by 2025 Australian Idol contestant Jaymon Bob.
Family Day Theme
The theme for the Danila Dilba Family Day event, Rising Voices – Empowered by our Ancestors, echoes the message of NAIDOC 2025 and focusses on the next generation, acknowledging their strength, vision, and the legacy passed on by those who’ve gone before them.
We’re looking forward to celebrating all the rising voices in our community and invite you to join us!
