About the Role: Casual Medical Receptionist

Our Medical Receptionists provide high quality customer service to our clients and administrative support to our clinical teams of Danila Dilba Health Service.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Reliable and punctual with a high level of self-motivation.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in office administration and/or medical reception.
  • Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to Aboriginal culture and history and knowledge of issues impacting on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills with an ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently, and as a member of a team, with strong organisational skills and demonstrated ability to plan, manage and prioritise tasks.
  • Demonstrated competency in the operation of Microsoft Office and similar software programs.

Employment with us is subject to:

  • Willing to undergo a Police Check.
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Current CPR certificate or the preparedness to gain one within 6 months of commencement.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or an exemption as listed on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) be submitted.
  • Full rights to work in Australia.
